Football Recap: Highlands Bluebirds vs. Greenup County Musketeers

It's playoff time, and Highlands had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Greenup County Musketeers 35-7. Considering the Bluebirds have won four matchups by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Rio Litmer had an outrageously good game as he threw for 207 yards and four TDs on only 12 passes, and also rushed for 47 yards. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September. Bryce Armstrong also helped out with an impressive 90 receiving yards.

Highlands' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Cooper Benke was especially locked on to Greenup County's QB and sacked him twice.

Highlands is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
