Soccer Game Preview: Manatee vs. Southeast

The Manatee Hurricanes will challenge the Southeast Seminoles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Manatee's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Manatee fell victim to Palmetto and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for the Hurricanes in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Southeast kept a clean sheet against Boca Ciega back in December of 2024. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pirates, sneaking past 1-0.

Southeast's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8-2. As for Manatee, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1.
