Basketball Game Preview: South Gwinnett Comets vs. Heritage Patriots

The South Gwinnett Comets will challenge the Heritage Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for South Gwinnett and nine for Heritage.

South Gwinnett came up short against Rockdale County on Tuesday, falling 65-40. That's two games in a row now that the Comets have lost by exactly 25 points.

Meanwhile, Heritage played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 69-33 loss at the hands of Archer. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-17.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for South Gwinnett, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

South Gwinnett came out on top in a nail-biter against Heritage in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 65-63. Will South Gwinnett repeat their success, or does Heritage have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
