Volleyball Game Preview: Bishop McNamara Mustangs vs. St. John's Cadets

Bishop McNamara is 0-10 against St. John since October of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will head out to face off against the Cadets at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bishop McNamara is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since October 9th on Thursday. They came up short against Bishop O'Connell, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-11.

Meanwhile, St. John's is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of The Academy of the Holy Cross. The Cadets fell just short of the Tartans by a score of 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, St. John's sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-23, 21-25, 25-23, 20-25, 15-11.

St. John's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Bishop McNamara, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Bishop McNamara suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to St. John's in their previous matchup on October 9th. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
