Volleyball Recap: Victory Christian Comes Up Short

Victory Christian managed to slip by Jacksonville Christian Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Thunder on Monday. Considering the last time the Lions couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Victory Christian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-20.

Victory Christian moved to 10-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

Victory Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Jefferson Christian Academy on the 30th. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they will welcome Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
