Volleyball Recap: Neenah Rockets vs. Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes
Neenah proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes. For the Rockets, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Blue Dukes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.
If you add up the scores from across all three sets (62-60) Neenah actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 28-26, 15-11.
Eli Yoder paced Neenah's offense, picking up eight kills. Yoder got some help from Cam Diekfuss and his 22 assists. Colton Kreger controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
