Volleyball Recap: Hanover Area Comes Up Short

Hanover Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Abington Heights Comets.

Hanover Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Abington Heights, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Coming up, Hanover Area will face off against Blue Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Abington Heights, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Pocono Mountain East on the 18th.
