The Holy Family Tigers will take on the Palmer Ridge Bears at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Holy Family is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Frederick with a sharp 10-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Golden Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.

Jaelyn Sandoval was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Giuliana Magnetti, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Holy Family was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .469. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Frederick only posted a batting average of .174.
Meanwhile, Palmer Ridge faced Pueblo Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bears were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Wildcats.
Pam Boyarko made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Palmer Ridge got a massive performance out of Savanah Martinez, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Tehani Lum-Perreira, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Holy Family's record is now 23-4. As for Palmer Ridge, their record now sits at an identical 23-4.
Saturday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Holy Family hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. However, it's not like Palmer Ridge struggles in that department as they've averaged .396. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
