Basketball Game Preview: Woodland Warriors vs. Putnam County Panthers

Woodland is 2-8 against Putnam County since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Woodland Warriors will head out to face off against the Putnam County Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Woodland will be strutting in after a victory while Putnam County will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, Woodland strolled past Leland with points to spare, taking the game 66-49. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Putnam County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Hall, falling 60-33.

Putnam County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Woodland, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Everything went Woodland's way against Putnam County in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Woodland made off with a 66-46 win. Does Woodland have another victory up their sleeve, or will Putnam County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
