Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Breck Wilson and Michael Carlson Lead Woodcrest Christian to Victory

Woodcrest Christian won the last time they faced Sherman Indian and things went their way on Friday too. The Royals were the clear victors by a 61-38 margin over the Braves. The Royals not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since December 6, 2024 (when they won 78-45).

Woodcrest Christian was led to victory by Michael Carlson and Breck Wilson. Carlson posted 11 points and seven boards, while Wilson earned seven points and four steals. That's the most points Wilson has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Madden Anderson, who put up 11 points.

Woodcrest Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Sherman Indian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodcrest Christian will venture away from home to square off against Heritage at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sherman Indian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Public Safety Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 2.
