Flag Football Recap: Denver East Comes Up Short

Denver East lost against Vista PEAK Prep on September 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Angels took a 28-12 bruising from the Bison. The Angels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vista PEAK Prep found their leader in sophomore Rilee Bergquist, who threw for 206 yards and three touchdowns.

Denver East's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.

Denver East didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 54-0 win against Lincoln on the 20th. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 40-0 victory against Denver West on the 23rd.
