Volleyball Recap: Beachwood Wins Going Away Against Trinity

Beachwood barely beat Trinity the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bison were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans on Tuesday. The Bison have beaten the Trojans the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.

One reason for the win was Beachwood's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-8.

Beachwood can attribute much of their success to Gianna Preston, who had ten digs and five assists. Preston has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Beachwood's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Beachwood will take on Garfield Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Trinity, they will head out to square off against Fairview at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
