Having just played yesterday, the Austin Mustangs will jump right back in to play the North Forest Bulldogs at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Austin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season.

Austin is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Milby just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 61-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buffs.

Austin might have lost, but man, Ashtian Glass was a machine: she posted 36 points. That was a full 69.2% of the Mustangs' points, marking the sixth time in a row Glass has had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Za'Riah Jenkins, who earned seven points.

Meanwhile, North Forest didn't have too much trouble with Kashmere on Tuesday as they won 42-25.

Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for North Forest, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Everything went Austin's way against North Forest in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, as Austin made off with a 46-24 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
