Soccer Game Preview: Newark vs. Lancaster + How To Watch

The Newark Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Lancaster Golden Gales at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Newark's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Newark fell victim to Reynoldsburg and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to the Raiders. While losing is never fun, Newark can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 483rd, while Reynoldsburg are ranked 180th).

Meanwhile, Lancaster and Canal Winchester finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Thursday.

Lancaster's draw gives them a new season record of 7-6-2. As for Newark, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
