Football Recap: Amory Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Amory can now relate to. They were beaten by the Corinth Warriors 40-0 on Thursday. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Corinth was led to victory by Patrick Crump Jr. and Qwuantiver Young. Crump Jr. rushed for 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, while Young rushed for 42 yards and one score. Crump Jr. didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made four total tackles.

Amory's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Corinth, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

As of now, neither Amory nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
