Volleyball Recap: Decatur Comes Up Short

Decatur lost against Springtown on October 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Porcupines, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Springtown had a senior duo take command as Brooklynn Quintanilla had 25 digs and two aces and Kallie Conway had seven aces. Conway is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served four or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Decatur's loss dropped their record down to 36-7. As for Springtown, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 40-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Decatur nor Springtown have any future games scheduled.
