Football Game Preview: Big Walnut Golden Eagles vs. Washington Tigers

Two dominant backs in Nolan Buirley and Savior Owens are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Big Walnut Golden Eagles will take on the Washington Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Big Walnut is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Canal Winchester a 35-0 shutout. The Golden Eagles' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a point in their last three contests.

Meanwhile, Washington had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 48-14 victory over the Stallions. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Tigers just coasted through the last quarter.

Big Walnut's record now sits at 11-1. As for Washington, their record is now 9-3.
