Pioneer High School's Varsity Baseball team (17-7) is set to take on the Colfax Falcons (14-11) in their opening game of the 2011 Sac-Joaquin Section Division III Playoffs beginning with a home game on Monday, May 16th at 4PM. The Patriots' offense is led by junior Michael Chavarria and sophomore Robert Daugherty with 0.419 batting averages. Ace pitcher Nathan Gonzalez has accumulated a 1.47 ERA. Go Patriots!
