Baseball Game Preview: Glenbard South Raiders vs. Fenton Bison

For the second straight game, Glenbard South will face off against Fenton. The Raiders are taking a road trip to take on the Bison at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenbard South is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Glenbard South's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Fenton. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Bison recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Tommy Burke made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Burke was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Joe DeMeo, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Glenbard South's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 3-5 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Pogorzelski, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Fenton is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12. As for Glenbard South, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
