First Flight is 8-2 against Pasquotank County since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Nighthawks will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. First Flight is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

First Flight easily dispatched Lawrence Academy on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Nighthawks fell just short of Kellam by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday.

Ben LaVier was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits.

On the hitting side, First Flight saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lance Jones, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Pasquotank County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Perquimans County, falling 9-0.

First Flight's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Pasquotank County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Everything went First Flight's way against Pasquotank County in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as First Flight made off with an 8-2 win. Will the Nighthawks repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
