Volleyball Recap: Doniphan-Trumbull Victorious

It was a proper cat-fight when Doniphan-Trumbull faced off against H&H on Tuesday. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bearcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Doniphan-Trumbull took both sets by at least 17 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-5.

Doniphan-Trumbull's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for H&H, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

Doniphan-Trumbull will head out to square off against St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for H&H, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Giltner on the 7th.
