Football Game Preview: Middle Creek Mustangs vs. West Brunswick Trojans + How To Watch

The Middle Creek Mustangs will look to defend their home field on Friday against the West Brunswick Trojans at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Middle Creek is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Holly Springs: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Mustangs blew the Golden Hawks out of the water with a 37-7 final score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Mustangs had established a 27-point advantage.

Smith was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 12 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Brunswick walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 35-6 win over the Wildcats. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won three contests in a row.

Middle Creek's record now sits at 7-2. As for West Brunswick, their record is now 7-4.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Middle Creek has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 184.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like West Brunswick struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 167.6 rushing yards.
