Baseball Recap: New Brighton Lions vs. Laurel Spartans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seton LaSalle, New Brighton was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They skirted past the Laurel Spartans 5-4. That's more bragging rights for New Brighton, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Jaxson Zahn made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits.
