University Lab is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past Booker T. Washington-Shreveport to the tune of 50-16. The victory was familiar territory for the Cubs, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

Meanwhile, Madison Prep Academy's offense rose to the challenge against a Cougars defense that boasted an average of only 14.67 points allowed on Friday. Madison Prep Academy enjoyed a cozy 42-26 win over Kennedy.

Madison Prep Academy's win came from a few key players University Lab will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Keyon Robinson, who picked up 172 receiving yards and two TDs. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 126 receiving yards. Landon Johnson was in the mix too, providing Madison Prep Academy with two scores.

One reason for the win was Madison Prep Academy's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 11 sacks. Darius Mack refused to say out of the backfield, picking up four sacks all by himself. Another thorn in Kennedy's side was Mack, who picked up four sacks and made six total tackles.

University Lab's record now sits at 9-2. As for Madison Prep Academy, their record is now an identical 9-2.

University Lab didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Madison Prep Academy in their previous matchup back in October, but they still walked away with a 14-8 victory.
