Basketball Recap: Hadley Luzerne Takes a Loss

Hadley Luzerne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fort Edward Flying Forts. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since January 10, 2024.

Hadley Luzerne's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Fort Edward, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.

Coming up, Hadley Luzerne will take on Granville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Granville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Hadley Luzerne likes a good challenge. As for Fort Edward, they will square off against Hartford Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
