Basketball Recap: Rochester Falls to Hillsboro in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Rochester unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 57-46 to the Hillsboro Hiltoppers on Tuesday. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hiltoppers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Eli Zaidi had a dynamite game For Hillsboro., going 6-for-13 on his way to 19 points and seven boards. Those 19 points gave Zaidi a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Noah Satterlee, who posted 12 points.

Coming up, Rochester will take on Collinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillsboro, they will face off against Carlyle at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
