After a string of six wins, Lufkin's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 11-2 to the Whitehouse Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since February 22nd.

Lufkin's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Whitehouse, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Coincidentally, Lufkin and Whitehouse will both be playing Nacogdoches the next time they take the field. Lufkin will head out to face Nacogdoches at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Whitehouse will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
