Citizens Christian Academy extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 19-4. They came out on top against the David Emanuel Academy Eagles by a score of 6-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-7 back in September.

Citizens Christian Academy's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mattie Lewis, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Cadence Cravey was another, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

As for David Emanuel Academy, they moved to 17-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

On David Emanuel Academy's side, Rayleigh Faircloth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Addalyn Terwilliger made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Citizens Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 12-0 victory against First Preparatory Christian Academy on the 7th. As for David Emanuel Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-5 win against Robert Toombs Christian Academy on the 6th.
