Softball Recap: Union County Takes a Loss

Union County lost to Franklin County back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Patriots took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addisyn Schneider made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of her seven plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Union County's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Franklin County, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Union County by a score of 13-10 later that day.
