Volleyball Recap: Denver North Comes Up Short

Denver North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Vista PEAK Prep Bison, falling 3-0. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bison from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-19.

Summer Treiber paced Denver North's offense, picking up six kills. Treiber were helped by Morelia Rodriguez and Rory McIntyre, who contributed six assists each. Nancy Robles controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Denver North's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they moved to 11-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Denver North has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Arapahoe on the 10th. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against KIPP Denver Collegiate at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
