Basketball Game Preview: Cambria Heights Highlanders vs. DuBois Beavers

The Cambria Heights Highlanders and the DuBois Beavers will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Cambria Heights kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 76-69 to Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Julia Karlheim, who shot 5-for-6 from beyond the arc and almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Brienna Kirsch, who posted nine points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists.

Meanwhile, DuBois had to suffer through a 74-24 loss at the hands of Bishop Carroll.
