It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Carver Vo-Tech had no problem doing just that on Friday. They strolled past the Lansdowne Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 26-12. The win was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won seven games in a row.

Carver Vo-Tech found their leader in sophomore Elijah Jones, who picked up two sacks and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss). Christian Bryant also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending one pass.

Carver Vo-Tech's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Lansdowne, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Coming up, Carver Vo-Tech will take on C. Milton Wright on Friday. The Mustangs' defense has only allowed 13.1 points per game this season, so the Bears' offense will have their work cut out for them. Lansdowne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
