Rancho Mirage came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Palm Springs Indians as they made off with a 13-3 win. The Rattlers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Anelisa Garcia made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Garcia was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Amiah Olvera was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Dayanara Marquez also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Rancho Mirage always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Rancho Mirage's record now sits at 11-7. As for Palm Springs, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Rancho Mirage beat the Indians by a score of 26-8 on Wednesday.
