Volleyball Recap: Atkins Takes a Loss

Atkins and Smoky Mountain squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Atkins had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Camels of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2021.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16, 25-11.

Atkins has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season. As for Smoky Mountain, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Atkins nor Smoky Mountain have any future games scheduled.
