Volleyball Recap: Bellwood-Antis Comes Up Short

Bellwood-Antis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bishop McCort Crushers. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crushers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Bellwood-Antis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Bishop McCort, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-8-4.

Coming up, Bellwood-Antis will face off against Tyrone at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bishop McCort, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Central Cambria on the 20th.
