After failing to score in their last game, Goshen made sure to put some goals up on the board against Mishawaka on Monday. They blew past the Cavemen 9-0. It was an even better day for Caleb Cervantes as he scored three goals for his team.

Goshen used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Mishawaka. Three players got more time on the pitch than they're used to: Diego Gonzalez-Moran (60), Juan Juarez Salgado (60), and Aden Gomez (60). The trio had averaged 36, 28.3, and 23.7 minutes respectively before Monday's match. Gonzalez-Moran made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Goshen's victory bumped their record up to 8-1-1. As for Mishawaka, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goshen will square off against Bethany Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
