Volleyball Recap: Indian Creek Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Indian Creek can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Roncalli Royals on Saturday. The Braves just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Alexa Sichting paced Indian Creek's offense, picking up seven kills. Sichting got some help from Olivia Bryan and her 19 assists.

Roncalli can attribute much of their success to Reagan Turk, who had 13 digs and two aces. Turk is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Indian Creek's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Roncalli, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season.

Indian Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roncalli, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against New Palestine on the 18th.
