Millennium faced Xavier College Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Gators, falling 3-0. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

While Millennium had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-18.

Mattea Saunders had a dynamite game For Xavier College Prep., getting 32 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Saunders has posted since back in September.

Millennium's defeat dropped their record down to 19-19. As for Xavier College Prep, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 31-2.

As of now, neither Millennium nor the Gators have any future games scheduled.
