After flying high against Middleton last Wednesday, Lennard came back down to earth. The Lennard Longhorns took a 50-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newsome Wolves. The Longhorns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Lennard still got an impressive performance from Nate Montalvo, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 18 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Richard Sykes, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.
