Soccer Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Bluffton Pirates, falling 4-0. If Jefferson were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to Bluffton when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Bluffton, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Jefferson has already played their next matchup, a 3-3 draw against Crestview on the 29th. As for Bluffton, they will host Columbus Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bluffton's defense better be ready for this one: Columbus Grove have averaged an impressive 4.4 goals per game this season.
