Franklin entered their tilt with Barnstable on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Red Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win. The Panthers were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Red Hawks, so the Panthers were just returning the favor.

Franklin not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Barnstable between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-15.

Emma Cunningham was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and two aces.

Cunningham wasn't the only good servers: Franklin was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Franklin's record is now 13-2. As for Barnstable, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against King Philip Regional on the 9th. As for Barnstable, they will take on Dennis-Yarmouth Regional at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
