Volleyball Recap: Cobden Beats Egyptian for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

Cobden waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Egyptian Pharaohs by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Thursday.

Cobden easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21.

Natalie Franklin paced Cobden's offense, picking up five kills. Franklin got some help from Amelia Long and her 12 assists. Alivia Kilpatrick controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cobden now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Egyptian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Cobden wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Zeigler-Royalton on the 14th. As for Egyptian, they have also already played their next match, a 0-0 victory against Cairo on the 13th.
