Baseball Recap: Midland Valley Comes Up Short

Midland Valley lost to North Augusta back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs fell 7-3 to the Yellow Jackets. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Midland Valley saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was EJ Herrera, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Midland Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for North Augusta, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

North Augusta will head out on the road to face off against Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Midland Valley will be paying especially close attention to the Yellow Jackets' game: after the Yellow Jackets face off against the Eagles, they'll take on Midland Valley again at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
