Volleyball Recap: Cedar Grove Takes a Loss

Cedar Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Union County Panthers.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-3.

Union County found their leader in freshman Kamryn Brown, who had 17 assists and eight aces. Brown is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Cedar Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Union County, their victory bumped their record up to 16-10.

Coming up, Cedar Grove will face off against Newton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union County, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Lumpkin County on the 20th.
