Basketball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Aaron Edwards Dunkley and Jayden St. Fort

Oxbridge Academy fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Coral Springs Charter on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 66-59 to the Coral Springs Charter Panthers. The ThunderWolves were up 35-17 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Jayden St. Fort and Aaron Edwards Dunkley certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. St. Fort went 10 for 21 on his way to 26 points and five rebounds, while Edwards Dunkley dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave Edwards Dunkley a new career-high in boards.

Oxbridge Academy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Coral Springs Charter, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Oxbridge Academy will welcome Benjamin at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Oxbridge Academy is facing Benjamin at the right time seeing as Benjamin is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
