Volleyball Recap: Yelm Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Yelm and Shelton meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Tornados were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Highclimbers. That's more bragging rights for the Tornados, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Yelm was: they took every set by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Yelm's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for Shelton, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-2.

Yelm has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against WF West on the 18th. As for Shelton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Montesano on the 18th.
