Volleyball Recap: Grosse Pointe South Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Grosse Pointe South lost against Utica Eisenhower back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils fell 3-1 to the Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 27-29, 25-22, 25-11.

Gabby DiVita paced Grosse Pointe South's offense, picking up 16 kills. DiVita got some help from Lucy Edwards and her 23 assists. Alex Lupo controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Grosse Pointe South's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-10-1. As for Utica Eisenhower, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-2-1 record this season.

As for Utica Eisenhower, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against L'Anse Creuse North on the 2nd.
