Recap: Wadley Bulldogs vs. Winterboro Bulldogs
The Wadley Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 54-42 to Winterboro. If Wadley was looking for revenge after losing 59-49 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Damarious Spraddling, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Mason Wilkerson, who scored nine points.
Wadley has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Winterboro, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
Wadley will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. LaFayette is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games. Winterboro's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Childersburg is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
