Apalachee entered their tilt with Walnut Grove on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Warriors last Tuesday, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Apalachee never let Walnut Grove on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-15.

Apalachee's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Walnut Grove, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8.

Apalachee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against East Jackson on the 4th. As for Walnut Grove, they will square off against Cedar Shoals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
