Volleyball Recap: Ridge Point Beats Fort Bend Travis for Their 14th Straight Victory

Ridge Point extended their winning streak to 14 games thanks to a huge performance from Piper Marquart. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Fort Bend Travis Tigers on Friday thanks in part to Marquart, who had 13 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last six games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 22-25, 25-12.

Despite the defeat, Fort Bend Travis saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Molly McClimans had 14 assists and seven digs.

Ridge Point's victory bumped their record up to 25-13. As for Fort Bend Travis, they moved to 17-18 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
